Goonies Retrospective Documentary (Coming Soon)

Since 2003 we have been working away on the production of a Goonies retrospective DVD. It will offer fans a myriad of new material about the film, as well as the Goonies sub-cult phenomenon. Narration and interviews from the original cast and crew lends a unique perspective to the creation of the original 1985 film.

This page is dedicated to the progress of the new documentary. We are now releasing exclusive clips from the film, plus extras.

Update #10
Oct. 26th. 2007

...where have we been the past 8 months, well, not working on Goonies stuff as much as working WITH Goonies. The site we built for Robert Davi (mentioned below) was a large undertaking and has received great feedback! We have also been working with Jeff Cohen on his new site, so it's made us put this on the back burner for a little while. Now we are back and focused on getting this to the WB in a few months! Scott Pimentel is working with us on the narration which is the last piece of the puzzle. Stay tuned...

After 35 Hours of Editing
Update #2
Jan 22. 2004

We are finally getting down to the final scenes. It looks like we are at a little over a half an hour, but we still need to splice in some pickup shots and ideas. We're still trying to pack in as much Goonie facts and stories that we can! Our goal was to make this documentary 30 minutes, and it looks like we might go a little over...

Starting to Edit
Update #1
Dec 31. 2003

Of the 6+ hours of footage we have shot in the past few months, we are narrowing it down to what is usable. So far, we have about one hour of good, raw video. But who knows how long this will end up being? If this ends up on DVD, we will definitely have a lot of good stuff for extras!
