What's the connection between the Pac-Mac video game ghost and the Goonies movie?

Okay Andy, fess up! I know you did all these! Im tellin' Im tellin' na na na na NAAAA na!

=)

The only connection that Pacman can have with the Goonies is the 80's. Unless the fact that Pac man, like Pole Posistion, was a popular video game at the time is it, but that would just be silly dont ya think?

I would have to hope that they're done by the same people. Really, if there is some big Goonie connection to the Pacman ghost, and none of us know, how sad is that??

However, I, like everyone else, am DYING to know the connection. hehe
That would be most good.

Pole Position was released in 1982 by Namco...the creators of Pac-Man (released in 1980).

Seems a bit of a bizarre reason to put the two together for graffiti.

Hmmmm

What I have thought about is this...a while ago on the news there was this gang of kids in a country that I can't remember who did horrible crimes but called themselves the Goonies (tarnishing the Goonies name).
Where were these pics taken? Any idea?
Maybe it's their tag or something?
Apologies if i'm way off the mark but it's what I first thought when I first saw the photos.

I think most of them are from San Francisco. The owners of the pics seem to all have that in common as their location. That and the South Bay area and northern California in general too.

The other goonies street party/parade thread pics were all taken from San Francisco aswell. Seems like Goonies is well known over there!

I do recall a lot of those goonies gang stories on google, and totally forgot about them while surfing for goonies images on Flickr. Hmmmm. I wonder if they are theirs? Shaz, you might be onto something. I knew your love of tv investigation shows would add to your already powerful investigative goonies skills.

The ghost face could actually be totally unrelated to Goonies I suppose. It might well be the gang's own logo/tag, as you said Shaz. If not, it's just an odd pairing... what>:^(

I'll go for a gang logo like mentioned below. Most gangs have tags they can put up pretty fast. And I think the ghost can be done quicker than writing down "the goonies"

I love the skull and crossbones one on the stairs (it would make a wicked t-shirt) and I like the cartoony quality of these, makes them interesting even if they are vandalism. Fun stuff.
