I'm gonna start off my Halloween celebrations today (18th of October) by getting drunk in Sydney City then watching Piranha 3D. Concocting a possible Halloween costume instead of Bananaman after grabbing off 80's tees

Possibly might go as something a little bit gorier though

Alright, one of these years, were having a not so mini meet in Ireland, over Halloween. In my place.
I'll be buying a new apartment soon and I'll basically turn one room into a giant bed we can all sleep in and the rest into a horror Halloween fantasy.

It just came to me as I was reading this... it would be the most awesome Halloween party ever!

I've outdone myself this year. So far I've watched:
Ghostbusters
The Black Cauldron
Zombieland
The Watcher in the Woods
Creepshow
Scary Movie
Scary Movie 2
American Psycho
Disney's DTV Monster Hits
Scary Movie 3
Van Helsing
Scary Movie 4
The Fly (1986)
Rocky Horror Picture Show
Trick 'R Treat
Disney's The Legend of Sleepy Hollow (From The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad)
The Wolfman (2010) - Unrated Director's Cut
Disney Halloween-themed shorts
Hocus Pocus
Halloween III: Season of the Witch
Halloween II (1981)
Poltergeist
A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984)

I haven't watched any of the Universal Studios monster movies yet, except for this year's Wolfman remake. I'm gonna watch some of those old black and whites next.

I'm so down for visiting the mother country for some r&r. Christ, I need a vacation/holiday/break/escape. I have 80 million cousins to stay with but I don't know not a fan of dossing at people's houses. I always feel like I'm intruding. Hopefully Halloween will be a nice time to get my mind off of things. I better stop jawing before this turns into some C.C suitable rant what>:^(

But yes, next mini-meet where ever it may be I shall be there with bells on. I need to start thinking a bit more about myself in this regard. Not let stuff hold me back

The almighty Jerry O'Connell steals the show. I didn't even know he was in it until he appeared in his quirky way. I'm not usually a fan of CGI in most movies that come out these days as 98% of the CGI sucks. Lots of blood and gore as expected gracing lots of ditsy white teethed teen plain faces. Of course don't go in their expecting Fellini but I reckon it hit the mark. If you haven't seen the original and it's sequel from the 80's, please do!

Slowly but surely bitsing my Halloween costume together as well. Man there are some bizarre nooks and crannies (Not like that, Buba) throughout the internet what>:^(

I went to a Halloween party on Saturday but there were too many adult I didn't know and too many kids. I don't mind kids parties when there are no adults there because then I can join in and have fun.

Do you know what's better than getting your halloween costume the day before halloween? Getting it a day or two after. :( I are sad. :\

It's 6:40 and still no trick or treaters. What's up with kids these days? I guess it also doesn't help that Kelowna has the 4th highest crime rate in Canada right now. It's all those "Free Candy" vans driving around!

We had less than a dozen, pretty much from 6:30-8:00. We also live right by the mall, and most kids go there instead. Safer, from a parent's perspective. It's pitch-black here by 6pm. Chilly out too. Only got rid of half my box of candies. :(

Buba, whereabouts by the mall? I'm assuming thee big mall? I probably drove by your place and don't even know about it.

We only had 12 kids come by.

Here's the jack-o-lanterns I carved this year. My interpretation of Jack Skellington and Ghostface. I didn't use any stencils - I'm proud of myself.

Barbossa, great pumpkins!!! I didn't get very many trick or treaters either, not like back in the good old days. I guess kids go to parties now an such instead. And the weather wasn't even bad! Too bad I just end up eating a lot of the candy.

Max!! Looking sharp dude!! thumbup thumbup thumbup

The southeast corner of the mall is 87Ave and 170St, I'm on 88 Ave and 162 Street.

Yup. I drive nearby your place. You're just a few streets down from the hospital. I usually go to Fort Edmonton to hang out with the steam train crew there, then take Whitemud up to the mall. I was by your place in July. Hey when did they install that spinning roller coaster in the mall? It wasn't there a couple years ago.

pretty much all the rides have been there forever, however it is quite normal that a lot of them are down often for repair. Gotta keep that death toll down.
I just got part of my costume today, the sword. It's phallic amounts of legendary. True story. It's a good 3" thick at the hilt, about 5' long, and weighs a good 20 lbs. I got an over-the-shoulder baldric for it. Totally hot. Man I can't wait until next halloween.
