Why Domino's Pizza instead of Godfathers pizza?

So while watching the Goonies i said to myself Why did chunk's family give him a domino's Pizza box instead of a godfather's Pizza box? Mouth was referencing Godfathers Pizza in the beginning in Mikey's Living room.Do you think Donner or Spielberg though that everyone probably couldn't relate to a godfather pizza box and just went with a more household logo in domino's? I mean didn't godfathers pizza do some promotional glasses for the movie and i don't recall domino's doing any promotional stuff....thoughts?

I seem to remember reading something about this... that at the last minute they had to use Dominoes as Godfathers did not want to sponsor or be involved with advertising.
