It's been a month since the 25th anniversary, and despite my busy life, I've found my thoughts wandering time and time again to the many wonderful moments I shared with you. Alone, I traveled across the country to be there, to be part of the magic, to feel like a Goonie. Making this trip was something I'd always wanted to do since I was a child, after learning Astoria was a real place. I had no idea what to expect, but until the Meet and Greet on Saturday, I wandered aimlessly and just took in the sights at my own pace, awestruck by the beauty of Astoria and the mystique which seemed to permeate the air.
Then I met you guys, waiting in line(for what seemed like an eternity)in order to get a few awkward moments of shallow conversation with three actors from my favorite movie of all time. I don't recall exactly when I subtly injected myself into your conversation, or even what it was about at the time(probably Goonies), but I don't typically feel like I'm on the same wavelength with most people, but to me, it felt like we all clicked. Inviting me out to Cannon Beach for the bonfire was probably the best thing to happen to me all weekend. I've been on a lot of adventures and crazy trips, but that was definitely one of the most wonderful experiences of my life.
And overall, it was probably the best weekend of my life, which I owe to you guys. Particularly Bryan and Rosemary. You two took me in as one of your own and made it all happen for me. And as for Merk, Moe, Brannon, Rheiner, Damon, Shaz, and a bunch of others(whom I hope will not be offended that I didn't type out their names), you guys are a blast to hang out with and I look forward to the next time we bump into each other. You all became my friends and made my trip a memorable experience, one I hope we'll be able to repeat for many anniversaries to come.
Oh - I was the really tall guy with sunglasses.

And I would've mentioned you in my original post, but I didn't wanna butcher your name.
