Thanks guys!! Wait to see what Fred has in store at his website!
I have lots of ideas, the goonies are one of my favorite subjects to draw. I still want to do a comic that we could have at the 2010 reunion!

lol, I had to wander over to your site to check that out...I hadn't noticed it before. Had to reload the page a few times to scan things before the screen comes down, but I found it!!! lol, that's awesome
And I LOVE your artwork littlereddog!!! Think I probably said that before, but I'm saying it again!!! lol Is everything done by hand? Or do you bring some of it into the computer, and add detail that way as well? It's a really unique style, and it's sparked my curiosity as to how you do things :o)
just click on the picture frame on the left of the attic, and it will show you the background without the popup thingy...not sure what clicking on the lantern does
i dont see the cage though.
and yea littlereddog, the art you did is Amazing, the best fan art ive ever seen!
and if you dont print them shirts ill have one made for myself
oh and the goonies meet spaced invaders! that would be the ultimate.

Thanks angelseyth!! Glad you like it!!
I am working on some other 80's classics right now for my blog, hopefully this weekend ill get to post them
I used to do everything by hand but now I sketch it out and "ink" it on the computer and then color it on the computer as well. Sometimes Ill scan textures, or paint for backgrounds.
I dont like being in front of the computer very much but Ive found its the fast/best way for me to work and get a piece I like.
For some art I pencil and ink and then scan them in and color them on the computer.
you know what you could do that would be instantlly in the harddrives of millions? create a comic book in your art style, that goes along with the movie, do all the memorable scenes, and include all the "lost scenes" that everyone is going on about.
like the leeches and the gorillas and the slickshoes waterfall scene.
it would be quite a job, but that is the one thing that the goonies are missing, a comic book that mirrors the movie.

Ahhhh!!! Never knew about clicking on the background, lol. Not to spoil it for those who want to look for the cage themselves........but, it's sitting between the rocking horse and rocking chair on the floor :o)
pretty cool? itd be a hit!
i cant believe it hast been done already... i mean 23 years?! you could make a Fortune if you printed them and walked around selling them at the events in astoria, or online
from my limited legal knowledge, that shouldnt be any different than "robot chicken" cashing in on all the 80's pop references. i remember seth green saying something like " as long as we improve on it or change it in some way, its legal" ... you just cant print out a bunch of screenshots and make a comicbook. it should fall into "parody" which is legal, like weird al.
